Most of us are not breathing as well as we could! Dysfunctional breathing has been linked to anxiety, chronic pain, muscle tightness, headaches, neck and back pain, decreased athletic performance and poor sleep. Breathwork helps the patient understand how control of breath can be used to treat anxiety, build resilience, manage stress, enhance performance, and decrease pain. 

Combining modern science and ancient wisdom, Breathe Your Truth (BYT) helps improve overall health and peak performance by using the power of breath. We’re trained in breathing physiology, capnography, mindfulness, intermittent hypoxic training, and hyper ventilation practices, Yoga and Qi Gong – to build a program mixing today’s technology with yesterday’s deep connection to the breath.

We work with people on-line, and in-person, providing individual coaching.

Breathe Your Truth launched in 2020 after decades of study and clinical work.

Amy began her personal yoga practice in 2012 and was introduced to the concepts of the Postural Restoration Institute, becoming Postural Restoration Certified in 2016.  It was her personal experience in yoga and her addition of PRI principles into her PT practice that helped her understand the power of the breath. She became a BYT certified coach in 2021, completing a mentorship under David Deppeler, PT, DSc, OCS, FAAOMPT. She continues to explore the effect of breath on postural alignment, pain, anxiety, resiliency, and performance.
